Ceiba pentandra also called Kapok and Silk Cotton Tree is native to Mexico and the Caribbean. It has many uses including a light colored wood, a useful fiber, and products including soap from the seeds. I found this in a local nursery. It is in the same family as Okra, Hollyhock, and Chocolate.
